Personal Data We Process
Best Dentist JB processes three categories of personal data. Inquiry data: when you submit a consultation request through a clinic listing, we collect your name, email address, and the message you wrote, which is then forwarded to the dental clinic you selected. We do not keep a copy of inquiry data after it has been forwarded. Newsletter data: if you subscribe to directory updates, we hold your email address for the purpose of sending those updates. Analytics data: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects anonymised browsing patterns on our site, including pages visited, session length, device type, and broad geographic region. GA4 data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individual visitors.
Purpose and Legal Basis
Each category of data serves a distinct purpose and is collected on a defined legal basis. Inquiry data is processed on the basis of your consent, expressed by submitting the inquiry form. Its sole purpose is to route your consultation request to the clinic you chose, after which it is discarded. Newsletter data is also processed on the basis of your consent at sign-up. Analytics data is processed under our legitimate interest in understanding how visitors use the directory so we can improve it.
Cookies and Tracking
We use three categories of cookies on this site. Strictly necessary cookies handle session management and basic site security. Preference cookies store your selected display currency so you see dental prices in SGD or MYR on return visits. Analytics cookies are placed by Google Analytics 4 and track anonymised usage patterns.
Data Retention and Rights
Inquiry data is not retained by Best Dentist JB after it has been forwarded to the selected clinic. Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. If you wish to request deletion of any other personal data we may hold, please use our contact form. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
